Flexible Vinyl Flooring

What Is LVT Flooring?

LVT flooring is a multilayer flexible vinyl product available in plank or tile formats. Depending on the construction, it can use click, glue-down or self-adhesive installation.

Flexible Click LVT uses flexible vinyl layers with fiberglass stabilization rather than the mineral-filled rigid core used in SPC flooring. Selection should consider the installation method, subfloor condition, finished floor height and project requirements.

Custom Manufacturing

LVT Flooring Specifications and Product Structures

The tables below show the options we manufacture as standard for each LVT construction. Use them as the starting point for your collection or project specification.

Glue-Down and Flexible Click LVT share the same basic layer sequence. Flexible Click LVT adds fiberglass stabilization within the flexible LVT base layer and may also include an IXPE or EVA attached pad. The click profile is machined into the product edge after cutting; it is not a separate material layer.

Buyer’s Selection Guide

How to Choose the Right LVT Flooring Construction

No single LVT format is the right choice for every project. The suitable construction depends on installation method, subfloor condition, expected traffic, finished floor height and the documentation your market requires.

Selection factors:
installation method · subfloor condition · overall thickness · wear layer · plank or tile format · pattern and profiling · attached pad · required documents · target market and price position
01

Flexible Click LVT

Floating click installation with fiberglass stabilization and an optional attached pad. Suitable when a click installation is preferred over adhesive bonding.

02

Glue-Down LVT

Adhesive-bonded, with a lower finished floor height. Requires careful subfloor preparation and correct adhesive selection.

03

Self-Adhesive LVT

An adhesive-backed construction with a narrower standard thickness and wear-layer range, selected according to the intended project and installation conditions.

04

Patterned LVT

Herringbone and chevron formats involve different plank dimensions, packing and installation planning. Click profiling applies only to the applicable click constructions.

Quality Control

How We Control LVT Flooring Before Bulk Shipment

A good sample is only the starting point. Bulk and repeat orders also need to stay controlled in thickness, wear layer, color, surface, dimensions and packing.

Every batch is checked for dimensional stability and shrinkage. Raw materials are reviewed through random sampling, and heavy-metal testing is also carried out according to the quality-control plan.

LVT flooring quality and dimensional testing
1

Raw Material and Formula Control

Production records and material inputs are checked against the confirmed product specification.

2

Thickness, Wear Layer and Dimensions

Overall thickness, wear layer, plank or tile dimensions and squareness are checked during production.

3

Color, Surface and Gloss Comparison

Production is compared with the approved décor, texture, gloss and edge-treatment reference.

4

Layer Bonding and Flexibility

Layer bonding and product flexibility are reviewed according to the selected LVT construction.

5

Click or Adhesive-Backing Inspection

Click profiles, attached pads or self-adhesive backing are checked where they apply to the order.

6

Packing, Labels and Pallet Inspection

Cartons, labels, piece counts and pallet condition are checked before container loading.

A note on consistency: Consistency depends on agreed tolerances and the approved sample. We set these references before production rather than promise that every batch will look identical.

Shared Front-End Process for Click and Glue-Down LVT

How LVT Flooring Is Manufactured

Click and Glue-Down LVT use the same hot-pressing line before product-specific cutting, profiling, backing and packing steps.

01

Base-Layer ExtrusionExtrude the flexible LVT base layer to the required thickness.

02

Hot PressingHot press the wear layer, decorative film and flexible LVT base layer together.

03

UV CoatingApply the ceramic-bead UV coating after hot pressing.

04

ConditioningCondition the pressed sheets for 48–72 hours in a 24°C constant-temperature room.

05

Heat Stabilization / AnnealingPass the conditioned sheets once through a 40-meter annealing line to release residual stress and improve dimensional stability.

06

Full-Sheet Edge TrimmingTrim the edges of the full pressed sheets.

07

CuttingCut the trimmed sheets into individual planks or tiles.

Click LVT is a flexible construction with fiberglass stabilization embedded in the flexible LVT base layer, installed as a floating click floor, with an optional IXPE or EVA attached pad. Glue-Down LVT shares the same basic layer sequence but generally has no fiberglass layer and bonds directly to a prepared subfloor with adhesive. Neither is a rigid-core product.
Yes. We can review a physical sample, décor reference or technical sheet. A final approval sample should be confirmed before mass production, since minor variation can occur between décor-film and production batches.
Mixed-color loading can usually be discussed, subject to production and packing arrangements.
The usual MOQ is around 3,000 m². For selected in-stock colors, smaller trial orders may be discussed, and new customers may be supported from approximately 300 m² depending on stock, specification and packing requirements.
Yes. Standard packaging uses white kraft cartons. Custom-printed cartons and labels can be produced according to the approved artwork and order requirements. Orders are normally palletized unless loose-carton loading is specifically requested.
Every batch is checked for dimensional stability and shrinkage. Dimensions and squareness are also checked during production.
